This reunion is dedicated to the entire worldwide Montague family. Philadelphia was selected
primarily because it is about midway between Lancaster County, Virginia and Hadley, Massachusetts, the ancestral homes of Peter and Richard, who were
the first Montagues to come to America in 1621 and circa 1634 respectively. There have been many other Montague immigrants to the United States
since Peter and Richard arrived.
