Southeast of Ocala, FL a mile or so, on Hwy 464, there was once an area called the Montague District. It is still on the County maps and is situated east of the SE38th St. and Maricamp Rd. area. The Fairgrounds are now located in part of the area.
The
topography is flat and was mostly wooded or agricultural in earlier times.
Today it is becoming more rural residential |
