The Mount Shasta volcano is nearby [MAP], and Montague is near enough to appear in a USGS Mount Shasta debris flow page and a Mount Shasta volcano page... (you will have to do a text search). Since Montague was a railroad stop, there are many interesting pictures of locomotives near Montague. There is also an airport .
Montague, Massachusetts, USA , is in north-central Massachesetts. It is due north of Amherst. From its government web page [1] [2] : `Confusing to the uninitiated are the five villages which are the single town of Montague. Montague, Michigan, USA, [MAP] is on the western coast of Michigan, on the shore of Lake Michigan. It is about half-way up the Lake Michigan coast. It is slightly north-east of Milwauke (located on the other side of Lake Michigan) and is north-west of Grand Rapids, MI. Recreation [1] [2] seems to be a significant industry. A picture of their old railway station is on-line, as is a description of the feel of the area.

Montague Island is the large island in the middle of the `mouth' of the Colorado. Montague Island is about 100 miles due south of Yuma, Arizona. Its longest axis is about 20 miles. There's nothing between Yuma and Montague Island but desert (the Gran Desierto, a.k.a., Sonoran Desert, Yuma Desert) and, of course, the Colorado... The Isla Montague is close to the towns of El Golfo de Santa Clara and El Doctor. The coastal desert is the Desierto de Altar. A Baja California page contains a description of the surroundings (You will have to text search for Montague). Another description, in Spanish.
Montague Island, New South Wales [1], Australia. This island is on the southeast coast of Australia. It is southeast of Canberra, south of Sydney, and due east of Cooma. Rabaul is on New Britain at the closest point between the two islands. Rabaul was a very big Japanese navy base during WWII, and the prime base of Japanses operations during the fighting on Guadalcanal and the Coral Sea...
